Brazil
Harold and Joan Reiner (BMM)
Harold
and
Joan have been in Brazil nearly sixty years now. They have
established many Baptist churches in Northeast Brazil. They
started on the coast and have pioneered into the interior.
Harold and Joan are still on the field, faithfully serving the Lord!
Jan Reiner (BMM)
Jan
went to
Brazil as a single missionary schoolteacher. It was there
that
she met Ray Reiner. Ray's first wife, Carol, went
home to be
with the Lord and left Ray with two children. They were later
married. She and Ray served together for over 35 years
when Ray was called home to be with the Lord in March 2004.
Jan continues her work in Jacuma in the ministry she and Ray
established and has a great impact on children wherever she goes.
Doug and Renate Reiner (BMM)
Doug and
Renate
first went to Brazil as missionaries of First Baptist Church of
Hamburg, NY, in 1987. Currently, they live and work in the
city
of Petrolina in the center of Northeast Brazil.
Their
primary ministry is chruch planting. They have established
three
churches and have aided in establishing two others. They have
had
a ministry to the deaf since 1996 and started First Baptist Church for
the Deaf in Petrolina. They have directed the camp ministry on Treasure
Island for most of their time in Brazil. Doug also carries
additional responsibilites with the Mission's
administration. Renate ministers to the ladies, holds
children's
evangelism outreaches, and teaches English to reach out to more people

Tim and Vicki Reiner (BMM)
Tim
and Vicki
work near Harold and Joan. Tim established a Baptist church
in
Casa Nova, helped with planting a church in Petrolina, and has since
started another in Petrolina. He and his brother, Doug,
minister
to the deaf and have started a separate church for the deaf and another
one for the hearing people of Petrolina. Tim also ministers
in a
weekly radio ministry and carries many other responsibilities.

Jeff & Ivana Reiner (BMM)
Jeff
and
Ivana are working with a newer church plant in Jacuma. Jeff's
mother, Jan, is also working with them. They currently have
about
30 people in their church.
Filipe and Marina Niel (Brazilian Nationals)
Filipe
was a pastoral intern with
us for most of 2006. He is a Brazilian national and is currently in
Brazil with his wife Marina. He returned to Brazil in January 2008, to
plant a church in Caldas Novas, Brazil, where he is currently pastoring
Caldas Novas Baptist Church. Click

Haiti
Dr. Roy and Ruthie Shelpman (BMM)
Dr.
Roy and
Ruthie care for several needy Haitian children who live with them.
They are also actively involved in several local churches in
their area. Dr. Roy trains and disciples pastors both
informally
and formally through a local Bible college. Update

Philippines
Dr. Link and Lenore Nelson (ABWE)
Link
and
Lenore first went over to the Philippines as a doctor and nurse after
World War II. They established several hospitals throughout
the
islands. They are now retired, but continue to visit the
Philippines on short-term mission trips.
Singapore
Bob and Esther Howder (ABWE)
Bob and
Esther
were originally called to the field of Japan. During their
thirty
years there, many precious souls were saved as they worked faithfully.
They were later asked to consider a new ministry, teaching at
Asia Baptist Theological Seminary. Both Bob and Esther have
been
instrumental in training national pastors and teachers from many

Domestic Missions
People
Marlin and Donna Fuller
Marlin
and Donna
serve as AWANA missionaries. They call Pennsylvania home, but
spend much time on the road. Their responsibilites include
training leaders, starting clubs, directing competitions between
different churches, and helping wherever they are needed.
AWANA
is designed to be used by local churches to reach out to children and

Tom and Sherrie Logsdon
Tom
and Sherrie serve with Continental Baptist Missions as church
planters. They started at least three churches in New York
before
being relocated to Michigan. Tom is now a field director and
spends much of his time on the road.
