Sunday School and Adult Bible Fellowship
Each week at 9:45 a.m. both children and adults hear God's plan of salvation, study God's Word, and learn how His Word applies to their lives. You are encouraged and welcome to join a class. There are appropriate classes for every age.
Nursery - Ages 0-2
Beginners - Ages 2-3
Pre-primaries - Ages 4-5
Primary - Grades 1-3
Juniors - Grades 4-6
High School - Grades 7-12
Adults - There are several class options for adults.
Junior Church
Our Junior Church is made available for those age 4 through grade 2. It provides for a quieter atmosphere in the main service. However, more importantly, it allows the children to learn God's Word at their level.
Nursery
We value all of the children that God gives to us. Because of that, for all of the ministries that deal with children, we screen, interview, and train every adult that works with them to increase their safety. Our nursery is open for every service.
There are two separate
nurseries.
Infant Nursery - 0-24 months
Toddler Nurser - 2-3 years
Deacon Caring Ministry
We care deeply for every member of our church. To help insure that everyone is properly cared for, the deacons of our chruch make themselves available to help and pray for our members. They enjoy serving!
Music Ministry
Whether you read it or not, if you like music, there's a place for just about anyone.
Choir
The choir sings each Sunday in the morning service from September to
June. Its ministry contributes greatly to the service.
Orchestra
The orchestra accompanies the congregational singing. If you play an
instrument, you are invited to participate in our growing church
orchestra.
Hamburg Youth Ministries
We meet every Wednesday night during the school year from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Teen Ministry
The teen ministry is designed for anyone in 7th-12th grade. Our night
consists of time for games, singing praises to God, and studying the
Bible. We value God's Word, the Bible, and seek to teach it in a
practical way that applies to the everyday life of teens and
demonstrate the change it can make in a person's life.
AWANA Ministry
The AWANA ministry has three groups: Cubbies (ages 2-5), Sparks
(Kindergarten-2nd grade), and Awana (3rd-6th grade). Every evening
consists of time to memorize God's Word, singing songs, Bible lessons,
and games.
Saturday Visitation
Every Saturday morning at 10:00, we go out into our community to give personal invitations for people to come and visit our church. Come join us as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission.
Ladies' Missionary Fellowship
All ladies are welcome to come. We meet the second Tuesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall (although we take a break in the summer). This is a time of doing work projects for our missionaries, praying for them, and then just fellowshipping with one another. We hope to see you there!
W.A.V.E.S.
W.A.V.E.S. stands for "Women's Activities Voicing Edification and Salvation." Our purpose is to have a Christ-centered event under the ministry of our church for encouraging, building up, and reaching out to the women of our church family and beyond. Our goal is to plan ladies' events that complement the other ministries of the church, and bring glory to God by carrying out the purposes of the church in evangelism, edification, worship, service, and fellowship.
Baptist Builders' Club
This new ministry takes place every Monday night from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. This ministry is open to anyone who would like to come and serve the Lord in doing work projects around the church.
Rosewood Nursing Home
This ministry takes place on the second Friday of every month at 10:30 a.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to reach out to the older people at the nursing home. It's a time of singing, a short message, and interacting with the folks there. Come be an encouragement and receive a blessing in return!
Seneca Gospel Mission
On the first Sunday of every month we hold a service in South Buffalo for boys and girls in the area who aren't able to get to a church for themselves. All ages are welcome. We sing with them, play a game, have a time just to talk, and most importantly teach them God's Word. Join us one week and see what it is all about. Learn more about Seneca Gospel Mission.
Minute Women
The Minute Women stand prepared to be ready in a minute for two purposes: to pray for an urgent need in our church or to provide meals for families during times of crisis or birth of a child.
Ushers
The ushers in our church are often the first people to greet you when you come in our building. They are there to help you with directions in our facility and even assist with parking issues. Just let them know how they can help you!
Children's Reading Time
Sundays after the evening service is a special time for our children. For 15-20 minutes, children hear exciting missionary stories and practical character-building stories. Let your children take advantage of this fun and helpful time.
Media
Our media ministry allows you to hear the service clearly and and participate in it. They also provide a way for you to have a recording of the service. There is no fee for these recordings. They also play an invaluable role in special programs by coordinating lighting and stage needs.
